Air Quality Testing

Are you concerned about the indoor air quality in your building or home? Testing is perform by our licensed home inspector and then sent to Priority Labs for analysis. Home Sight Inspections does not posses a mold assessor or mold remediator license and can not discuss the lab results.

Home Sight Inspections uses priority labs for all air quality analysis. We will overnight all samples and then should expect results within 24 - 48 hours. Once results are complete they will be sent to your inbox and you can discuss the findings with priority labs.

Water Sampling Analysis

Did you know Private Wells in Florida are not regulated. There are no regulations on how to maintain or repair a Private Well, this could allow for improper maintenance or construction which could lead to poor water quality. Here at Home Sight Inspections we provide testing of the Well. Testing includes : Total Coliform ( Bacteria), Nitrites, Nitrates, & Lead. We can also perform only a Total Coliform test. Private Well Inspection

Private Well systems can be very complex and have many different moving pieces. Home Sight Inspections offers a comprehensive visual inspection of the private well including a Total Coliform ( Bacteria) Sample of the water. The inspection focuses on all exterior parts of the well and how they are functioning. All deficiencies will be written up in the report and sent out same day to your inbox. You can add this service onto a home inspection or book as a stand alone service.

Septic System Inspection

Septic Systems are complex sewage drainage systems designed to break down all waste and drain into the earths surface. These systems are not like conventional sewer systems where they are sent to facilities to be treated. Most conventional septic system contain a septic tank, header / d-box, & a drain field. Some systems might contain a pump station. If you are wanting to know the condition of the system whether you are purchasing a home or getting a routine inspection Home Sight Inspections can be there to assist you. Our comprehensive inspection look at all components of the system and performs a water test on the drain field. Septic System Inspection does not include a pump out of the system or a guarantee of future use. It can only determine the current condition at time of inspection. If you would like for the tank to be pumped out please call our team ahead of time to get that scheduled.

Sewer Lateral Scope Inspection

If you are looking to purchase a home adding on a sewer later scope inspection is the best thing you can do. If the house has sewer there is typically a line from the house to the street. This is on the responsibility of the property owner to maintain. If there is any damage it could end up costing anywhere from 8 - 10k to repair. We will provide a written report documenting the condition of the pipe along with a video to document the inspection of the pipe. Sewer Scope Inspection includes a visual inspection of the line. We can not guarantee a complete inspection of the entirety of the pipe due to limiting conditions.
